Hagley Museum & Library - (302) 658-2400

Hagley, most known as where the Dupont family began their lucrative career in black powder, is home to a museum, historic powdermills, and world-renown business history library. You can spend the entire day wandering around the grounds and learning what life in the 1800s was like as an employee of Mr. Dupont. The grounds are breathtaking in the spring, especially along the Brandywine River. Don't forget to check out the exhibit on World's Fairs in America in the main visitor's center.
